Brittany is the visionary behind Mix & Mingle. With a passion for logistics, design, and guest experience, she brings together thoughtful planning and creative execution to deliver bar experiences that feel elevated and effortless.

Her goal is simple: to make hiring a bar vendor one of the easiest — and most enjoyable — decisions you make while planning your event.

Who provides the alcohol?

Per VA ABC laws and regulations, we cannot buy or sell alcohol for an event.

The alcohol must be bought by the client. Never fear! We will help put together a shopping list and can even pick up and transport the order to the event for you!

If you don't provide the alcohol, what do you provide?

Literally everything else! We provide all the equipment and materials needed to make and serve drinks (cups, ice, mixers, garnishes, etc), our knowledge and expertise, insurance, mobile bar options, decor, an in-person or virtual consultation for personalized menu selection and alcohol ordering. PLUS, alcohol pick up and transport if needed. Oh and did I mention that we make all of our syrups in house with fresh ingredients? We do!

Do I need a banquet license for my event?

If your event is being held on your private property, a banquet license is not required. If the event is being held in a public event space or even a private property that is used as an event space, a banquet license is needed, and we must have it displayed on our bar. We can give guidance on how to obtain this license, but it is the responsibility of the client or event space to obtain it before the event.

What is required to book my date?

We require 50% of your bar/bartender rental down. Once that is received and the contract signed, you are set! From there you will receive a welcome packet packed with details about your event, what to expect, a communication schedule, and more!

What is needed for the horse trailer bar?

Our Vintage Horse Trailer Mobile Bar requires at least L: 13' W: 8' H: 8', plus room for our vehicle to get it where it needs to be. It also needs to be on flat ground and have access to electricity (15amp-20amp standard residential plug within 100ft of trailer location). Other electrical accommodations can be made with an additional fee (longer cord, rv plug, generator). Water hook up is not required, but very helpful.
